PTZ Security cameras are popular for interactive surveillance. Conventional PTZ cameras allow the user to pan, tilt and zoom, but not to see the whole video scene – just one portion at a time. With Pan Tilt Zoom Cameras you can monitor very large areas. Move them up, down, left, and right. Offices and fast food restaurants rarely use PTZ cameras. Newer model PTZ cameras now have an option of Infra Red included for outdoor use. PTZ Cameras can be placed on tours (patterns) that move the camera in a predetermined way to capture areas of interest. Operators can control PTZ cameras to track objects. PTZ cameras can be controlled and viewed from DVR or remotely over the internet.
